Microneedling with Dermapen 4

Dermapen 4 uses multiple fine needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin's superficial layer. These small needles penetrate the skin with precision and control, distinguishing Dermapen 4 from other types of microneedling.

As the needles penetrate the skin, small injuries are created that are minimal and superficial. This controlled skin damage stimulates the body's natural healing process, which includes the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen is an important protein that gives the skin its firmness and elasticity. By increasing collagen production, Dermapen 4 can reduce signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines.

Improved Absorption of Skincare Products:

The microscopic channels created by Dermapen 4 enhance the absorption of skincare products. This means that when serums, creams, or other treatment products are applied after the procedure, they can penetrate deeper into the skin and be more effective.

Treatment of Various Skin Issues:

Dermapen 4 is versatile and can be used to treat a range of skin conditions, including scarring (such as acne scars), stretch marks, uneven skin tone and texture, as well as large pores.

Customizable and Safe:

The depth and speed of the needles can be adjusted for different skin types and conditions, making the treatment safe and tailored to each individual.

Precision and Adaptability:

Dermapen uses small, fine needles that create microscopic channels in the skin. This precision allows reaching different skin layers and adapting the treatment to individual needs and specific skin issues.

Less Pain and Discomfort:

Because Dermapen uses finer and smaller needles compared to traditional microneedling, many patients experience less pain and discomfort during the treatment.

Faster Recovery:

Dermapen treatment causes less trauma to the skin, resulting in a quicker healing process and less recovery time after the treatment.

Dermapen is particularly effective because it adapts to the skin's unique contours and provides a smooth and controlled treatment across the entire treatment area. This method is especially popular for treating areas that are difficult to reach with traditional methods, such as around the eyes and on the lips.

Characteristics

It is important to know that Dermapen treatment is not suitable for everyone. Here are some situations where one should avoid this type of treatment:

  • Active acne and skin infections: Individuals with active acne or skin infections should avoid Dermapen treatment until these conditions have completely healed.

  • Open wounds or skin injuries: If the skin has open wounds or severe injuries, it is not safe to undergo the treatment.

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: It is often recommended that pregnant and breastfeeding women avoid this type of treatment.

  • Skin conditions: Some skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and severe rosacea in flare-ups may worsen with the treatment.

  • Sensitivity to Keloid scarring: Individuals with a history of keloid scarring should refrain, as microneedling may increase the risk of further scarring.

  • Blood-thinning medications: Individuals taking blood-thinning medications should consult with their doctor, as this may increase the risk of bleeding and bruising.

  • Recent skin treatments: Those who have recently undergone other skin treatments, such as chemical peels or laser treatments, should wait until the skin has fully recovered.

It is always important to consult with a qualified skincare specialist or doctor before starting Dermapen treatment to ensure that it is safe and suitable for your specific skin type and condition.

Contraindications

Dermapen™ is a trademark synonymous with advanced microneedling treatment that naturally increases the production of collagen in the skin. Microneedling has become an increasingly popular treatment method for a variety of skin problems. Dermapen causes controlled damage to the skin using needles. As a natural reaction to needling, the body wants to repair the damage. It begins to produce new collagen and new capillaries are formed in the skin. The result is a rejuvenation of the skin and an improvement in its structure and condition. A Dermapen treatment can be performed on all skin types/skin colors. With its unique vertical technology, 16 thin sterile disposable needles, a strong motor, and an automatically vibrating function, Dermapen creates up to 1920 microchannels in the skin per second. The treatment preparations used can therefore effectively penetrate the skin for optimal absorption and effect. Dermapen was the first microneedling pen on the market and is still the market leader worldwide.

Instructions:

Immediately after the treatment, only a slight redness is visible. The following reactions are common after a Dermapen treatment, depending on how deeply the treatment has been performed:

  • 1-2 days: a little tingling, a little dry and tight

  • 2-3 days: slight flaking in some, but not all

  • 3-4 days: the skin may feel very dry

Approximately one week after treatment: completely restored and normal skin function. A treatment/course usually includes 1-8 treatments performed at 2-8 week intervals, depending on the skin and indication being treated.

Carefully follow the instructions given by the practitioner and do not use any other products than those prescribed before and after the treatment.

Contact the clinic immediately if unexpected side effects occur or if you have questions.
